Where the City Meets the Sea?

Imagine the feeling of lying on a pristine beach while some of the best waves in the world peel down the line before gently washing onto the shoreline. Now imagine you’re in the throng of a bustling city, bars, cafes and restaurants as far as the eye can see.

Having travelled around the world, I’ve not found anywhere that does this mix better than the Gold Coast. It is far more versatile than most people realise. As a Gold Coast buyers agent, I love helping people to unlock this versatility and to enjoy one of the most beautiful places on earth to its full potential.

Let us explain why spending more time on the Gold Coast is good for the soul.

The City

The Gold Coast really does offer as much as any of the best cities around the world. There are numerous Michelin starred restaurants scattered up and down the coast and many are within walking distance around Broadbeach.

The City

Needless to say, you’re not going to find yourself short of options for quality cuisine. And if you feel like kicking your heels up, nightlife on the Gold Coast is legendary. Unlike Sydney, with its Cinderella-like insistence on being in bed before midnight, this place comes alive after dark.

The Gold Coast strikes a perfect balance. It has a definite vibe and energy without becoming congested and busy. A Gold Coast buyers agent can help you navigate that balance. If you’re an urban city dweller who isn’t happy unless you are five minutes from a hole in the wall bar, we’ve got you sorted.

Alternatively, if you are after something slightly more relaxed, we can find you the perfect suburb a few minutes out. It’s at your fingertips, but you can retreat to the peace and quiet. You just need to find that perfect spot on the continuum between vibe and peace. We’ll do the rest.

The Sea

As a younger man, I travelled extensively through the French Riviera. I remember my confusion as to why I wasn’t losing my mind at the beaches of Nice or Saint Tropez like everyone else around me. After a few days, it struck me: The beaches I grew up on were genuinely more beautiful and natural than anything I could find around the Mediterranean.

The Sea

It wasn’t named the Gold Coast for no reason. Whether you are a frothing surfer or you just appreciate stunning beachscapes, there is something here for you. One of my personal favourites in Currumbin Alley. The waves are gentle and mellow, so if you’re still new to surfing, it is a forgiving wave on which to hone your burgeoning skills.

It is also a great place for kids to splash around in the shallows. If you’re keen to step up, the world famous Kirra and Duranbah are just around the corner (be sure to call it D-bah and you’ll fit right in).

Trying to choose your favourite beach is kind of like me picking my favourite kind of chocolate: It’s hard to go wrong. I’d recommend spending a little bit of time meandering up the coast to find something which feels just right. So come and get the sand between your toes. Live a life with salt in your hair. It is good for the soul.

It’s a beautiful place to live, there is no doubt about it. But it can be daunting in making sure you get it just right. We as Gold Coast buyers agent can do all the hard work in finding you the perfect place so that you’re never too far away from where you want to be.
